This is a critical role that provides high-touch support to Addepar’s UK employee base. As a key partner to local leadership across R&D, GTM, and G&A, you will bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution. You will report to the Regional Director, People Business Partner (based in London), and serve as a trusted coach to managers, an expert in UK employee relations, and a primary driver of people programs in the region. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in high-growth environments and thrives on building relationships across diverse functional teams.

Operational People Leadership: Serve as the primary People point of contact for the Edinburgh office. Lead the "on-the-ground" execution of core people cycles, including performance management, compensation reviews, and engagement action planning
ER & Compliance Expert: Manage end-to-end employee relations, including grievances, disciplinaries, and complex investigations. Ensure all local practices remain compliant with UK labor laws while maintaining the "Addepar way"
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Provide balanced support across R&D, GTM, and G&A functions, collaborating closely with Global PBPs to maintain functional consistency
Manager Coaching: Act as a dedicated coach to managers and Directors, helping them navigate team dynamics, workforce planning, and talent development
Program Implementation: Take global people initiatives and translate them for the local office, ensuring high adoption and relevance
Operational Excellence: Use data and professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, working with little to no supervision on daily tasks
Requirements:
Several years of experience in a People Business Partner or Generalist role, ideally within a high-growth, U.S.-based technology company
Proven ability to manage stakeholders across different areas of a business
Strong expertise in UK employment law and a track record of handling sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and professional judgment
Comfortable being a senior People team member in the Scotland office, with the maturity to exercise good judgment while working remotely from your direct manager
Ability to identify gaps in the employee experience or manager capability and propose solutions
Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
