Job Description:

The Senior People & Culture Executive plays a vital role in supporting our Discova Cambodia business by delivering hands-on HR and people support across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Regional People & Culture Leader and Country Manager, this role ensures smooth HR operations, strong compliance with Cambodian labour law, and a positive employee experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all People & Culture queries for Discova Cambodia employees
  • Prepare and manage employment-related documentation including contracts, probation letters, warnings, resignations, and certificates
  • Support recruitment activities including candidate coordination, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Handle HR reports, disciplinary matters, and investigations in line with Discova SOPs and compliance standards
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities on HR and administrative requirements
  • Maintain accurate employee data, including employee movement, leave records, and payroll inputs
  • Coordinate monthly payroll information such as KPIs, bonuses, overtime, and employee changes
  • Manage work permit and visa applications and extensions for expatriate employees
  • Coordinate employee health insurance processes including enrolment, termination, and claims support
  • Monitor Cambodian labour law changes and update the business, employee handbook, and policies as required
  • Support and help drive employee engagement activities aligned with Discova values and EVP
  • Coordinate key People & Culture initiatives such as the Great Place to Work survey, workshops, salary review support, and skills matrix processes
  • Assist with People & Culture projects that impact employee experience and staff costs
  • Provide trusted People & Culture advice to managers and leaders to support day-to-day people decisions
  • Support monthly HR reporting and data collection for the Regional People & Culture Leader
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a People & Culture / HR role
  • Strong understanding of Cambodian labour law and local employment practices
  • Fluent Khmer with business-level English communication skills
  • Experience working in a multinational environment
  • travel or hospitality industry experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable handling confidential matters with professionalism and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • experience with HR systems is an advantage
  • Alignment with Discova’s purpose, values, and people-first culture
