Job Description:

With our headquarters in central Birmingham and teams across the UK, we’re a business built on collaboration. From operations to marketing to finance, our people work together to keep things moving and keep improving. We invest in our people, our tech, and how we work — because getting those right drives better outcomes for our clients, customers, and each other.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with managers on day-to-day people matters, from performance and absence to more complex conduct and well-being situations
  • Take the lead on employee relations cases end-to-end, keeping things fair, consistent, and commercially sound
  • Coach and challenge managers to handle situations confidently, reducing reliance on 'handing things over'
  • Spot patterns and trends in cases, using data to highlight risks and improve how we operate
  • Keep our processes practical and up to date, not just compliant, but actually useful
  • Support and deliver training that helps managers build real capability, not just tick boxes
  • Work closely with the wider People team to keep everything aligned and joined up
  • Get involved in projects and policies that improve how manage and develop our people
  • Confidently manage TUPE activity in line with legislation

Requirements:

  • Experience handling employee relations cases and advising managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence to influence, challenge and build trust with stakeholders
  • A practical, commercial mindset — you balance risk with what works for the business
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail across multiple cases
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
What we offer:
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension scheme based on role
  • Extra holiday allowance grows with length of service
  • Medicash, virtual GP, therapies, dental and optical support
  • Company sick pay increases over time
  • Life Assurance
  • Study support and access to dedicated academy
  • 24/7 mental health services
  • Extra day off on birthday
  • One volunteer day annually
  • Benefit Platform
