University of the Arts London is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join its Pensions team and play a key role in supporting the Pensions Manager in delivering a high-quality, professional and timely service to staff from across the University.
Job Responsibility:
Provide a comprehensive pensions service, supporting the day-to-day delivery of key operational duties
Interpret and implement changes across the University’s three pension schemes
Advise managers on the financial and operational implications of developments
Act as first point of contact for the Pensions team
Liaise closely with external pension scheme administrators
Supervise the Pensions Assistants, ensuring accurate recording and submission of scheme data
Lead the preparation and submission of all monthly and annual returns within statutory deadlines
Calculate pension estimates for retirements and redundancies
Develop internal procedures
Manage the processing and authorisation of third-party invoices
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme and Teachers’ Pension Scheme, particularly in relation to information requirements for monthly returns
Experience of DC schemes
Knowledge of the Universities Superannuation Scheme
Knowledge of automatic enrolment and re-enrolment processes
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Capable of leading and motivating a team, setting clear objectives
Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
