7+ years of hands-on experience in PCB layout for complex, high-speed electronic systems
Advanced proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Editor and OrCAD Capture
Strong experience with high-speed design techniques, including impedance control, length matching, and stack-up development
Working knowledge of Gerber and ODB++ verification tools and pre-fabrication review processes

Job Responsibility

Lead end-to-end PCB design activities from schematic entry through fabrication and assembly release
Develop schematics, component symbols, PCB footprints, and design constraints using Cadence tools
Own high-speed PCB layout quality, including controlled impedance routing, differential pairs, and timing constraints
Partner closely with SI/PI, DFM, DFA, and DFT engineers to resolve design, fabrication, assembly, and test challenges
Generate fabrication, assembly, and test documentation, ensuring design quality and manufacturability
Support product development reviews, cost estimates, and manufacturing readiness activities

Job Responsibility

Act as a PCB design engineer for complex circuit architecture/designs
On larger designs, support PCB Design Engineer guiding the effort of the PCB Designers
Realize PCB designs of high component density and high layer count while balancing the competing needs of the electrical design (e.g., high speed signal routing, EMI / EMC, Signal Integrity) with those of the manufacturing standards (DFM and DFT)
Capture PCB design requirements from the development engineering team, set up constraint manager design rules and DFM rules, and complete PCB design from Data entry to Output of fabrication files
Participate in the estimation of PCB design efforts for the scope of work and effort
Participate with fellow PCB designers in best practices for layout and simulation of high-speed signals as well as analog and power supply circuitry
Elicit layout technique best practices from senior design engineers and incorporate those best practices into the PCB Design Group (i.e., gather, document, train others)
Team with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure the highest quality PCB design developments
