We are seeking a Senior Payroll Systems Analyst to lead the integration and implementation of a new Time & Attendance system.
Job Responsibility:
Lead workshops to gather requirements, specifically focusing on the interpretation of complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and National Payroll compliance
Map 'As-Is' vs. 'To-Be' processes, creating robust user stories and acceptance criteria that eliminate manual intervention
Oversee the data flow between HRIS, Time & Attendance and Finance/ERP systems
Utilise your accounting background to perform deep-dive data validation, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) practices, and parallel run reconciliations to ensure 100% pay accuracy
Design and execute SIT/UAT strategies, including customised test scripts for complex pay rules, public holiday behaviours, and accruals
Act as the primary technical point of contact for software vendors and internal cross-functional stakeholders (HR, IT, and Finance)
Requirements:
10+ years of experience across Business Analysis, Payroll Consulting, and Accounting
Extensive experience with Tier-1/2 systems
Proven ability to design comprehensive test scenarios and automated data comparison workbooks (ETL)
Advanced Excel skills
Understanding of data mapping, system interfaces, and automation
Proven track record of reading a legal document (Award/Agreement) and knowing how to code it into a system's logic
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/E-Commerce) or a similar Finance heavy qualification
