Job Responsibility

  • Own and drive the payroll process across the company
  • Ensure accuracy of all payroll inputs (attendance, bonuses, deductions, adjustments)
  • Calculate variable compensation components such as annual and quarterly bonuses, merit increases, and other reward schemes
  • Act as a superuser of the payroll/HR system (Pinya) and ensure data integrity
  • Validate and reconcile payroll data, and actively drive automation and AI-enabled improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Coordinate with external payroll provider during monthly payroll cycles
  • Communicate with authorities and public administration (tax offices, social security, etc.)
  • Support internal and external audits with high attention to detail and documentation quality
  • Oversee employee annual tax reconciliation processes, acting as the main point of contact for employee queries, documentation, and coordination with external providers.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or a similar role
  • Background in consulting, advisory, Big4, or similar analytical/professional services environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with payroll processes, HR operations, or financial data management
  • Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting)
  • Structured, detail-oriented and process-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to communicate with external stakeholders and authorities
  • English and Czech at a communicative level.
