Job Description:

In this role, you will take the lead in processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on payroll operations while collaborating with both employees and team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for employees
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, implementing changes as needed
  • Maintain payroll systems and address complex issues or discrepancies that arise
  • Provide guidance and direction to entry level payroll staff, ensuring their work aligns with organizational standards
  • Research and resolve non-routine payroll challenges using sound judgment and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Analyze payroll data and generate detailed reports for management review
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll management and reporting
  • Handle payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, including multi-state payroll processing

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll processing and management
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll principles, including federal and state laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and handling full-cycle payroll operations
  • Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex payroll issues effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and handle sensitive situations
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring employee satisfaction
