In this role, you will take the lead in processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on payroll operations while collaborating with both employees and team members.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, implementing changes as needed
Maintain payroll systems and address complex issues or discrepancies that arise
Provide guidance and direction to entry level payroll staff, ensuring their work aligns with organizational standards
Research and resolve non-routine payroll challenges using sound judgment and technical expertise
Collaborate with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Analyze payroll data and generate detailed reports for management review
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance
Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll management and reporting
Handle payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, including multi-state payroll processing
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll processing and management
Advanced knowledge of payroll principles, including federal and state laws and regulations
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and handling full-cycle payroll operations
Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex payroll issues effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and handle sensitive situations
