Senior Payroll Officer

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing for +2,500 headcount, across 5 states and two distinct payroll runs
• Navigating payroll-related higher duties, in processing for legislative reporting
• Ensuring data integrity across a diverse workforce of permanent and contingent staff
• Assisting in a high-level payroll health check and compliance audit to ensure the function is future-ready
• Accurately calculating complex final entitlements and settlement figures, ensuring strict associated regulatory and tax compliance

• Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll SME in a high-volume environment
• Strong technical proficiency in FoundU or similar modern payroll platforms
• Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including Superannuation, PAYG, and multi-state requirements
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain focused when working alongside reactive stakeholders
• Available to work on-site during the initial training and induction period in Melbourne

Accounting/Finance Qualification to be highly regarded
