Senior Payroll and Business Travel Manager. Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? This role requires a seasoned professional role with a specific focus on UK Payroll. The ideal candidate will Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Citi Global Payroll Services (GPS) currently has an opportunity within our UK Team for a Senior Payroll and Business Travel Manager who will manage Global Cross Border Mobile Employees. Partnering with Corporate Tax, HR, Risk Management, and local payrolls, the candidate must have strong project management skills and be able to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will also have experience with cross border employment tax, global external system implementations and familiarity with cross border administration.

Job Responsibility

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running portfolio of Cross Border Remote Work (CBRW) and Short-Term Business Visitor (STBV) programs
  • Administers and manages the global Cross Border Mobile Employees (CBRW & STBV) systems/ applications delivering system enhancements to increase automation and user productivity
  • Acts as CBRW & STBV programs SME with strong understanding of operational details to support the overall program
  • Manages critical and time sensitive issues & cases involving senior level / sensitive cases including any escalations
  • Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work
  • In close partnership with payroll and corporate tax, coordinates review of tax implications for CBRW and STBV populations and ensures delivery of advice to impacted stakeholders
  • Establishes partnership with HR Partners, Corp Tax and senior stakeholders to review/create business requirement documents, functional specifications and change requests (CRs)
  • Partners with HR Help Center technology team to suggest and lead efforts related to Cross Border Mobile Employees programs enhancement
  • Coordinate with a cross-functional team including GFT, UAT and Business SMEs to define business priorities and develop solutions which mitigate risk where necessary and maximize benefit to the business
  • Partners with Technology as a central point of contact throughout the planning, design, build, testing and release of global Cross Border Mobile Employees technology solutions
  • Maintains process and program documentation including for internal audit purposes
  • Oversees external system implementation and ongoing vendor management
  • Manages vendor(s) in line with the Citi Third Party Management policy i.e. third-party Risk assessments, application vulnerability assessments, cross border data clearance, and control functions for compliance
  • Provides reporting and KPIs on STBV & CBRW programs, leveraging the global dashboard tools
  • Plays a lead role in implementing process re-engineering ideas
  • Analyses data and provides key trends to support decision making on the process/system solution

Requirements
