Lead the operational support, administration, and ongoing stability of a mission-critical high value payment systems environment within a 24×7 enterprise setting

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the operational support, administration, and ongoing stability of a mission-critical high value payment systems environment within a 24×7 enterprise setting
  • Support and troubleshoot complex payment platform incidents, system events, production issues, and operational escalations in high-availability environments
  • Oversee release management, technical currency initiatives, upgrade planning, and operational governance processes across critical systems
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external service providers to ensure successful delivery and operational excellence
  • Drive strategic system management initiatives including requirements gathering, solution development, process improvement, and implementation planning
  • Coordinate and support infrastructure, application, and operational activities relating to enterprise payment systems and supporting technologies
  • Work within regulated, transaction-heavy environments such as payments, banking, fintech, telecom, capital markets, government, or enterprise operations centres
  • Support and contribute to DevOps and Agile delivery environments with exposure to CI/CD, operational automation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Participate in incident management, change management, release management, production support governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to operational support teams, analysts, project resources, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with third-party vendors and managed service providers to ensure SLA adherence, operational reliability, and ongoing platform support
  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements while translating operational needs into actionable recommendations and sustainable solutions
  • Support critical infrastructure and enterprise technologies including MQ Series, SWIFT network, APIs, Oracle databases, RedHat/Linux, Active Directory, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
  • Assist with operational planning, resource coordination, budgeting activities, and execution of enterprise payment initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • Strong experience within mission-critical enterprise operations environments requiring uptime, compliance, governance, security, and operational resiliency support
  • Must be Enhanced Reliability Cleared or Eligible for a Federally Issues Enhanced Reliability Clearance in Canada
