Job Description

Baptist Health is hiring a Senior Payer Strategy Analyst to join our Payer Strategy and Analytics Department. This is a Full-Time day shift opportunity. This position requires advanced analytical skills, deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, and proficiency in multiple financial and clinical systems. This is a remote position, candidate must work in the following remote approved states: AL, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MS, NC, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY

Job Responsibility

  • Quantify payer issues and policies
  • Monitor payer behavior
  • Provide analytic support during payer negotiations
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and modelling
  • Modeling reimbursement rates
  • Analyzing payer performance
  • Delivering financial insights that directly influence contract negotiations and revenue optimization
  • Serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing data-driven recommendations that shape payer strategy and financial planning
