Job Description:

Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Scientist to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 9 months.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement patient-centred, fit-for-purpose measurement strategies across the drug development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with global study teams, lifecycle teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate patient-focused outcomes into clinical development
  • Support study start-up, monitoring, and close-out activities related to clinical outcome assessments (COAs)
  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of electronic COAs (eCOA), including user acceptance testing, linguistic validation, and file specification reviews
  • Assess and drive the development or deployment of new measurement tools to capture patient experience effectively
  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as digital measurement strategy, eCOA, linguistic validation, and patient/site engagement
  • Work closely with data science and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient-centred evidence generation

Requirements:

  • MSc in Public Health, Psychology, or a related discipline (PhD preferred)
  • At least 3 years’ experience developing and implementing patient-centred measurement strategies within pharma or consultancy
  • Strong understanding of clinical outcome assessments (COAs), including electronic formats (eCOA)
  • Experience in clinical trial environments, including study execution and evidence generation
  • Knowledge of linguistic validation processes and digital measurement approaches
  • Hold entitlement to work in the UK
