Requirements

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Compliance related activities or in a related field in the aerospace and defense sector
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Highly proficient in developing and leveraging established relationships with Bombardier customers, suppliers, and partners
Advanced knowledge of various applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.
Highly proficient in analyzing large amounts of data and synthesizing it into meaningful information, analytics, project plans, and recommendations
Thorough knowledge of aviation compliance requirements in export controls and sanctions
Strong knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations, including their application in government contracts
Proficient with trade compliance software and the application of export control regulations to IT systems

Job Responsibility

Manage Bombardier’s compliance with US export control regulations, laws, and sanctions for all Bombardier related activity worldwide
Assist with Canadian and EU/UK export control regulations, laws, and sanctions for all Bombardier related activity worldwide
Management of aircraft parts services export control compliance for Bombardier
Oversee, provide guidance to, and work with export control designated officials at various sites within the organization around the world
Identify requirements for and lead and/or guide the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure Bombardier’s export control and sanctions compliance
Oversee and approve export control licensing submissions to US government authorities for Bombardier
Prepare, submit, and administer export licensing authorizations and other approvals, DDTC, BIS, and OFAC
Approve transactions involving the uses of Exemptions and Exceptions
Assist in the development and presentation of export-related training for Bombardier
Be responsible for regularly issuing communications on export control issues/updates and their effect on Bombardier
