As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect for the Ready for Wind River program, you are the technical heartbeat of our partner ecosystem. You will ensure that third-party software (AI models, security agents, CNFs) are seamlessly integrated, validated, and optimized for Wind River Studio. You’ll be responsible for working independently to set and achieve objectives tied to functional targets and goals. The role mentors and guides team members, coordinates project activities, and applies independent judgment to deliver creative solutions to complex partner challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Set and achieve partner enablement objectives aligned with Wind River’s strategy
Lead the technical certification process for the R4WR program, defining the test suites and KPIs that partners must meet to achieve 'Ready' status
Lead technical co-creation activities, including workshops and pilot projects
Design and maintain automated 'Validation Factories' using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to streamline partner onboarding
Collaborate with Product Management to identify gaps in our partner stack and recruit new technology partners to fill those needs
Author white papers, reference architectures, and technical blogs demonstrating the 'Power of Better Together' for complex use cases like Autonomous Driving or 5G vRAN
Requirements:
10+ years in Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Field Engineering
5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, KVM, and StarlingX
Deep understanding of CNCF projects
Knowledge and experience working with FV (Network Functions Virtualization), SDN (Software Defined Networking), OSS/BSS (Operational Support System / Business Support System), Cloud-native, applications and architectures, 5G Core, 5G RAN
Expert level in Python and Ansible
Familiarity with modern compute architectures (x86, ARM v9, RISC-V) and hardware acceleration (GPUs, FPGAs, DPUs)
Proficiency in specifying and communicating requirements, architectures, designs and intent
Container, virtualization, cloud computing or cloud-native architecture, development and automation
Proficiency in Linux operation and administration
Experience in software testing or CI/CD pipelines
Experience in production Telco or Service Provider environments, either as a network operator or vendor
Ability to balance Wind River’s technical requirements with the business constraints of a partner
Develop lasting relationships with key technical and business stakeholders
Manage customer satisfaction issues through escalation paths provided through Wind River’s support methods
Excellence in explaining complex low-level engineering concepts to both C-level executives and kernel developers
