Job Description:

Chase de Vere paraplanners work closely with financial advisers and client support teams to deliver advice and provide ongoing services to new and existing clients. Supported by experienced paraplanning management and development team, working on a wide range of client cases of varying complexity, continually developing skill and expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Researching, analysing market trends and report writing
  • Work closely with financial advisers and client support teams to deliver advice and provide ongoing services
  • Prepare recommendations
  • Review clients’ finances on an annual basis
  • Assess exposure to risk
  • Update financial strategy to reflect changing circumstances
  • Conduct research on clients’ financial planning arrangements
  • Undertake investment portfolio analysis including asset allocation analysis
  • Compile investment, pension and protection illustrations, projections and associated documentation
  • Write technical and accurate suitability reports and client service agreement letters
  • Ensure client files comply with both FCA regulations and internal policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Secured a number of financial planning (R0) qualifications
  • Striving to complete Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a paraplanner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Passion to provide best independent financial research and advice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Carrying out general day‑to‑day administration tasks, including handling client enquiries, answering telephone calls, collecting information from providers, and filing client documents
  • Maintaining accurate client information on the firm’s software systems, such as CCH, XPLAN and investment platforms
