Senior Paralegal

• Support the Retail Services Merchant contracting process
• Provide originations/fulfillment support for Personal Lending and Retail Services
• Provide guidance on Personal Lending and Retail Services marketing review work
• Provide support to a specialized practice or functional area within the Legal Department
• Provide substantiation and background for specific client inquiries, claims, disputes, cases and proceedings
• Produce clear and concise written materials
• Work directly with business clients and develops an understanding of business unit needs
• Develop relationships with business units and participate in strategic efforts
• Identify specific as well as broad underlying issues in area of expertise
• Resolve moderately complex issues within the Legal Department
• Coordinate with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects

• 4+ years of Paralegal experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Consumer Lending experience with an emphasis on Personal Loans/Lines
• Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and follow-through
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on clarity, precision and accuracy
• Well-developed analytical, organizational and research skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and take direction from attorneys and senior leaders
• Strong knowledge of MS Office software applications, including Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
