We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join our team at a Personal Injury Law Firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This permanent position requires an experienced individual with strong attention to detail to support attorneys with various phases of litigation, ensuring smooth case management and adherence to deadlines. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of legal procedures and a commitment to delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Create, file, and serve legal documents such as motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests with accuracy and timeliness
Manage court filings and deadlines in both state and federal courts, including handling electronic filings
Organize and prepare trial materials, including binders, exhibits, witness lists, and jury instructions
Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary
Monitor and track deadlines to ensure compliance with legal timelines
Provide administrative support to attorneys to enhance workflow efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience, specifically in personal injury litigation
In-depth understanding of civil litigation procedures and applicable court rules
Proven experience with state and federal court filings, including electronic filing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with legal teams and clients
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
