Job Description

The Senior Paid Search Executive is responsible for the planning, execution and optimisation of paid search campaigns to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and return on advertising spend across the Screwfix Spares e-commerce platform. The role will manage paid search activity across key platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, ensuring campaigns are effectively structured, optimised and aligned with commercial priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Build, manage and optimise search, shopping and performance campaigns
  • Drive growth through smart keyword strategy, bidding and budget management
  • Use data and insights to improve performance, conversion and ROAS
  • Test new ideas, tools and formats to keep campaigns moving forward
  • Deliver reporting, insights and recommendations that support commercial goals
  • Help shape the visibility of key product categories and growth areas

Requirements

  • Ideally, experience in a product-led business with a lower average order value, where campaign efficiency, volume and margin are key to performance
  • Proven paid search experience in an e-commerce or digital environment
  • Strong Google Ads knowledge and campaign management skills
  • A solid grasp of keywords, bidding strategies and optimisation techniques
  • Confidence working with performance data and analytics tools
  • A commercial, results-focused mindset
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
