Right now, we need to strengthen our Packaging team in Stockholm with a Senior Packaging Manager who will balance team leadership with technical excellence in driving our packaging development forward. This is the right role for you if you have high expertise when it comes to paper packaging and enjoy the challenges that leadership offers.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of 4 packaging development managers in Stockholm, defining roles, managing performance, and everything else related to line management
  • Own the packaging development process for new products, securing functional solutions that meet or outperform our requirements
  • Strengthen the technical competence of the group, particularly in construction and materials
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Quality teams, and external suppliers to ensure project progression and resolve quality issues
  • Lead sustainability initiatives within packaging and ensure all packaging data is accurately documented in our systems

Requirements

  • University degree in Packaging Engineering, Product Development, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical packaging development, with a deep understanding of paper packaging
  • A proven track record as a people manager
  • Proficiency in sketching, visualization, prototyping, and project management tools
  • Practical experience working with sustainability initiatives within packaging
  • Fluency in English and the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders
