Lead the strategic planning and delivery of all UK & Ireland overlay infrastructure across the tournament footprint. This includes temporary structures and installations that support safe operations, clear wayfinding, secure perimeters and high-quality venue presentation. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be the UK & Ireland lead for overlay, ensuring consistency, compliance and operational excellence across multiple venues, including stadia and team training facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Developing comprehensive overlay plans aligned to tournament requirements and venue conditions
Working closely with internal teams to align overlay solutions with operational needs and tournament objectives
Reviewing venue layouts, site plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate allocation of temporary infrastructure
Designing and delivering high-quality overlay solutions across stadiums, training grounds and other official sites
Ensuring compliance with local authority, safety and approval requirements in collaboration with safety, security and venue teams
Embedding health and safety considerations into all stages of planning and delivery
Ensuring visual consistency and quality across all overlay elements
Sourcing, appointing and managing overlay suppliers and contractors
Defining scopes of work, deliverables, timelines and quality standards
Leading contractor performance across multiple venues
Managing overlay budgets, tracking expenditure and identifying efficiencies where appropriate
Coordinating logistics, storage, maintenance and inventory of overlay materials
Producing detailed installation plans for use by UK & Ireland and UEFA venue teams
Reconciling supplier invoices and managing delivery within agreed budgets
Requirements:
Experience planning and delivering overlay for major events or complex, multi-site programmes
A strong understanding of temporary facilities and infrastructure requirements
Experience leading contractors and suppliers across multiple locations
Strong project management, organisational and problem-solving skills
Confidence working with budgets, suppliers and delivery schedules
Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as required
