We have recently expanded our expertise to include orthotic care, further enhancing our comprehensive patient services. We provide a patient-focused, friendly, and relaxed environment, enabling individuals to reach their full potential through tailored rehabilitation approaches. Our clinical and technical teams work in close collaboration, offering peer-to-peer support to ensure the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will be offered close clinical support from our highly skilled group of Orthotists who have extensive experience in private orthotic practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of Complex Patients: Provide expert care and management for patients with complex orthotic needs including poly-trauma and neurological conditions
  • Service Development: Lead initiatives to grow and develop the orthotic service
  • Patient Care: Take full responsibility for the complete process of patient care, from assessment and prescription to treatment and follow-up
  • Liaison: Work closely with case managers and solicitors to coordinate client care
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care for all patients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in orthotics
  • Proven experience managing complex orthotic cases, including trauma and neurological conditions
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Certified Orthotist or HND Orthotics or BSc Orthotics
  • Full HCPC Registration
  • The ability to meet the requirements of an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Check
  • Right to work in the UK at the time of application

Nice to have:

  • Experience in service development and quality improvement
  • Familiarity with private healthcare settings and working with case managers/solicitors
