Senior Oracle Database Administrator Work with Oracle Exadata and Cloud (AWS/OCI) technologies through FinXL! FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client, specifically we are looking for an infrastructure-focused Oracle DBA with hands-on experience across both Oracle Exadata and Cloud environments (ideally AWS and/or OCI). FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide end-to-end administration for Oracle databases in complex environments
  • Own the operational stability of Oracle Exadata and RAC environments
  • Support and optimize Oracle workloads hosted within AWS and OCI
  • Execute performance tuning, proactive monitoring, and critical patching
  • Manage and test high-availability and disaster recovery processes
  • Act as a technical bridge between Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams
  • Deliver RMAN backup and recovery solutions for mission-critical systems

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as an Infrastructure-focused DBA in large environments
  • Direct, hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata hardware and software
  • Significant experience supporting Oracle platforms within AWS and/or OCI
  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
  • Proficiency in Linux/UNIX administration and shell scripting for automation
  • Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and production support
  • Background in Telco, Banking, or Government sectors is highly preferred
