This position is for a Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Developer responsible for the design, development, and optimization of application solutions within Oracle Cloud HCM. The role focuses on Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Time and Labor, Payroll, Journeys, and Workflow. As a senior techno-functional expert, you will use Oracle Cloud-native tools to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions that improve business processes. This role involves approximately 60% hands-on technical development and 40% functional configuration and stakeholder collaboration.
Job Responsibility
Serve as a senior solution developer, deploying custom solutions using native Oracle Cloud tools
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create design documents
Design, configure, and deliver solutions by building custom objects and developing APIs and web services
Develop, maintain, and optimize Fast Formulas for Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll
Lead and support Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) application configurations and process automation
Analyze existing configurations and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization
Design and optimize HCM workflows and approvals to align with business and security requirements
Write and maintain PL/SQL code and complex SQL queries to support data validation and troubleshooting
Stay current on Oracle Cloud HCM quarterly updates to assess impacts and opportunities for improvement
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure long-term operational continuity
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required
Additional job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
A minimum of seven years of experience is required in supporting and developing solutions for Oracle Cloud HCM, including senior-level experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and related modules like Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll
Proven experience designing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle Fusion HCM solutions
Strong hands-on experience with Fast Formulas, including analysis and development
Proficiency in building custom objects within Oracle Cloud
Experience with Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle APEX, and REST-based integrations
Proficiency in PL/SQL and complex SQL queries
Understanding of Oracle Cloud integrations, data flow, and system architecture
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM AI-enabled and generative AI capabilities
Nice to have
Experience in a higher education or public sector environment
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FERPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, or TAC 202
Experience supporting complex HR, payroll, and benefits environments
Familiarity with Oracle HCM-EPM integrations
