Senior Optimization Engineer

• Act as a main technical interface for the customer and coordinate with the project team and engineering partners
• Oversee all phases of the project, including Application, Definition and Engineering, Staging and Testing, Installation, and System Commissioning
• Generate reports for project development, system performance, acceptance and post-project feedback
• Mentor and train other employees
• assist Sales Managers and Project Managers as needed
• Provide feedback and input for continual improvement of our product line and processes

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering field, or equivalent professional experience and competencies
• Strong knowledge in the Fiber Line or Causticizing Process Areas
• Experience with advanced and regulatory controls & optimization
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field
• Leadership skills
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and/or experience with process improvement
• High level of initiative
• Ability to prioritize and multitask well
• Ability to build relationships with customers, co-workers, and international partners
• Willing and able to travel as needed, up to 50% of time
