Job Responsibility
Lead and support site performance improvement initiatives through the implementation of the Growth and Performance System (GPS) to achieve operational excellence maturity targets
Partner with site leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement projects aligned with strategic goals and business needs
Drive cultural transformation by promoting Lean thinking, problem-solving methodologies, and a continuous improvement mindset across all levels of the organization
Lead Margin Improvement program (MIP) and ensure achievement of annual cost savings, efficiency, and productivity targets
Facilitate and coach cross-functional teams on Lean/Six Sigma tools, including root cause analysis, process mapping, and statistical problem-solving techniques
Support the development and execution of the Site Strategic Plan, including goal setting, performance tracking, and governance processes
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve cycle times, optimize production flows, and enhance manufacturing and business processes
Design and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance, team effectiveness, and continuous improvement progress
Support the Lean Daily Management System (LDMS) to ensure consistent execution and accountability at all organizational levels
Lead training initiatives to build Lean and Operational Excellence capabilities across the site
Ensure compliance with internal policies, cGMP, FDA regulations, and external standards through robust process improvements
Collaborate with global and divisional teams to share best practices and drive standardization efforts
Actively support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, promoting a zero-harm workplace and ensuring adherence to all safety requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or a related environment
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing improvement projects from concept through execution
Solid understanding of cGMP, FDA, and EHS regulations
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and process improvement methodologies
Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish)
Nice to have
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
