Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and managing daily operational activities within the company. Their role includes ensuring smooth execution of logistics and transportation processes, optimizing workflow, supervising teams, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. They play a key role in driving operational efficiency, managing performance, resolving issues, and meeting service delivery targets. The position also involves coordinating with various departments to ensure the seamless flow of goods, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operations
  • Ensure that vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced
  • Track and manage budgets related to operations, including labor and transportation costs
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to operational staff
  • Oversee the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage
  • Liaise with external vendors and logistics providers to ensure service quality
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all operational activities
  • Manage reverse logistics processes for returns and damaged goods
  • Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management
  • Support the development and training of team members to improve skills and productivity
  • Oversee daily operations across logistics, transportation, and warehousing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain supervision
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes, including inventory management, distribution, and shipping
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
  • Experience in performance monitoring and reporting, including the use of KPIs
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in logistics and transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis
  • Ability to adapt to changing operational demands and handle high-pressure situations

  • Maintain and validate key costing elements such as BOMs, routings, cost sheets, cost centers, labor rates, and overhead rates in partnership with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams
  • Supervise the monthly cost close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear explanations of variances related to efficiency, volume, mix, absorption, and manufacturing performance
  • Prepare and communicate financial bridges versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Support plant controllership activities, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls, internal control requirements, and audit standards
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and Operations teams to analyze margins, productivity, conversion costs, capacity, inventory performance, scrap, rework, waste, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Coordinate plant budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs, plant expenses, volume assumptions, capacity scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
  • Monitor inventory valuation, physical-to-book differences, inventory adjustments, and audit findings to support accurate reporting and strong financial controls
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify financial impacts to support operational efficiency and working capital optimization
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of cost analysts, ensuring strong technical execution, accountability, and continuous development
