Responsible for overseeing and managing daily operational activities within the company. Job Responsibility:
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operations
Ensure that vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced
Track and manage budgets related to operations, including labor and transportation costs
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to operational staff
Oversee the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage
Liaise with external vendors and logistics providers to ensure service quality
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all operational activities
Manage reverse logistics processes for returns and damaged goods
Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management
Support the development and training of team members to improve skills and productivity
Oversee daily operations across logistics, transportation, and warehousing
Supervise and lead teams of operations staff, including drivers and warehouse workers
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational efficiency
Implement process improvements to optimize workflows
Coordinate with various departments such as sales, customer service, and logistics
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Manage the scheduling and dispatch of transportation resources
Handle and resolve operational issues, delays, and customer complaints
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain supervision
2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
Strong leadership and team management experience
Knowledge of logistics and transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including inventory management, distribution, and shipping
Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
Experience in performance monitoring and reporting, including the use of KPIs
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in logistics and transportation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis
Ability to adapt to changing operational demands and handle high-pressure situations
