Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Senior Operations Project Manager – Mortgage Analytics to support critical initiatives within Home Lending Operations. The Senior Operations Project Manager – Mortgage Analytics will lead cross-functional projects focused on document exception management, process optimization, and automation. This Senior Operations Project Manager – Mortgage Analytics will partner closely with executive leadership, operational teams, and custodian partners to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and investor requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple operational teams and leadership levels
  • Serve as primary liaison with custodian partners, managing document exceptions and remediation efforts
  • Ensure compliance with custodial, investor, and regulatory documentation requirements
  • Analyze complex data sets related to document exception trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement analytical and automation solutions to optimize workflows
  • Leverage AI tools and technology to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Create executive-level presentations and reporting for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Coordinate collaboration across operations, quality control, underwriting, and closing teams
  • Monitor timelines, manage risks, and proactively communicate issues and escalation points
  • Evaluate process gaps and assess risk exposure impacting departmental outcomes and custodian relationships
  • Ensure data integrity through automated extraction, processing, analysis, and reporting of exception metrics

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project leadership experience across multiple teams and organizational layers
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scope control, and documentation
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience uncovering trends and generating actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experience developing process improvements and automation strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of mortgages and home lending operations
  • Experience presenting complex information clearly to all levels of management
