Senior Operations Processor

• Accountable for the preparation and accuracy of the daily or monthly Treasury forecasting needs for the APAC Chanel Finance legal entities
• Processing manual outbound payments to customers in the required currency, ensuring high degree of accuracy, in a timely manner and in compliance with all business policies and procedures
• Ensuring direct debit inbound payments are correctly allocated to the customers facility in a timely manner and in compliance with all business policies and procedures
• Interface and communicate with the partner banks to resolve issues, or inquiry, or cooperate with banks regarding Nostro account updates and other matters
• Timely escalation of any issues or concerns directly to APAC Cash Desk Manager
• Collaborating with team, including but not limited to the Operations team to work through and resolve any issues
• To complete reconciliation and reporting as required
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members, to help build their knowledge and experience within the APAC Cash Desk Team
• To provide back up support to other team members where required, including but not limited to cash forecasting, revision and updating of any procedures relating to cash desk
• Be responsible for reviewing current risk and controls within current processes to ensure they are effective and identify areas for improvement that are communicated effectively to the Cash Desk Manager
• Work with the Cash Desk Management team to support the development and implementation of all projects, including but not limited to testing of internal and external systems as required

• 6+ months of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• At least 4 years’ experience gained in a banking environment or equivalent, with operational cash handling, accounts payable/receivable execution and funds management
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of the Chinese & Singapore & Australian banking systems
• Understanding of other banking systems used globally is desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a high functioning positive team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and to timelines, with minimal supervision
• Experience of working in a pan-Asia or global company would be beneficial
• Flexibility to work on a public holiday if it falls on weekday to support other locations with compensation (low frequency / rare)

• Understanding of other banking systems used globally is desirable
