This role owns operational analytics and reporting across the COO’s organisation, providing critical insights that drive visibility, accountability, and efficiency across Operations. You will translate complex operational data into intuitive dashboards, automated reports, and actionable recommendations that support decision-making at all levels. Partnering closely with Data Engineering, you will help close data gaps, improve data quality, and build scalable reporting foundations to support the growth of a fast-scaling fintech.
Job Responsibility:
Query and model data with SQL
build insightful dashboards and reports in Metabase/QuickSight that track operational performance and SLAs
Define data requirements with data engineering/analytics
identify and close data quality and availability gaps affecting Ops decision-making
Design reporting structures and metrics that scale with business growth, enabling consistent performance tracking and accountability across the Ops group
Spot and size process-improvement and automation opportunities
pilot low-code/AI solutions to streamline reporting and accelerate insights
Serve as the COO’s analytical partner: produce actionable insights, recommendations, and narratives for leadership forums and initiative reviews
Act as a deputy to help drive COO-led improvement initiatives
track milestones, risks, and outcomes for key Ops projects
Requirements:
4+ years in data analytics (fintech/banking/FS preferred)
Strong SQL
hands-on with Metabase or QuickSight (or similar modern BI)
Proven partnership with engineering to define data requirements and ensure analytical accuracy
understanding of data modelling for long-term usability
Exposure to AI/low-code for reporting automation
excellent communication and stakeholder management
