We are seeking an Senior Operations Associate who takes ownership and drives outcomes to join our Supply Chain & Fulfilment team. This role will involve both day-to-day management of our Logistics network, as well as scoping and executing on improvement initiatives to help us solve some of the biggest operational problems facing our business - such as scaling our fulfilment network as order volumes grow, driving cost reductions, and implementing initiatives to meaningfully improve the patient delivery experience. The Senior Operations Associate will report directly into the Operations Lead, and will be responsible for Supply Chain reporting, relationship management with our logistics carriers, as well as proactively leading projects to improve the Operations of our business. We’re looking for a structured thinker with relentless focus on understanding the ‘why’, someone who is data and process driven, loves problem solving and embraces a continuous improvement mindset.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary point of contact internally owning day-to-day logistics, resolving delivery issues, investigating delays, returns and damages, and coordinating fixes with couriers and pharmacies
Manage courier relationships, including performance issues, escalations, evaluation of alternative courier options, trials and ongoing change
Drive cost improvements across logistics and fulfilment, with clear tracking of savings and impact on cost per order
Enhance the delivery experience, identifying and delivering on opportunities to improve delivery speed, reliability, flexibility and convenience for patients
Work closely with the Operations Lead on step-change improvement projects to scale the national network, covering packaging strategy, scaling our capacity as order volumes grow, cost optimisation, and public-holiday and peak-period planning
Work cross-functionally including with Patient Experience, Finance and Medical Support teams among other teams to deliver logistics changes that scale without breaking cost or experience
Requirements:
3-4 years experience in a supply chain, operations, consulting, or strategy role or in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, carriers and suppliers
Strong organisation and decision making skills, with experience running end-to-end projects
Resilience and ability to take initiative and drive outcomes in our constantly-changing fast-paced environment
Ability to work openly, challenge respectfully, share insights freely and own your mistakes
