We are seeking a highly skilled individual to deliver operational excellence across the global SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystem. The role involves managing daily operations, supporting deployments, coordinating technical troubleshooting, and ensuring service availability across complex corporate environments. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and technology partners while maintaining strong adherence to ITIL practices and SLA commitments. This role suits someone experienced in M365, service operations, and customer-facing technical support.
Job Responsibility:
Manage backend server health and ensure availability and performance of collaboration services
Conduct daily health checks, operational excellence tasks, and incident/service request handling within SLA
Implement ITIL best practices and ensure compliance across all change and service processes
Troubleshoot complex issues, escalate to vendors when required, and follow through to resolution
Stay up to date with technology trends, new versions, and product releases
Provide knowledge transfer, guidance, and support to both first-line and new team members
Support configuration, change execution, rollout, and deployment preparation across all environments
Execute project activities with high-quality delivery, timely reporting, and effective coordination
Manage customer relationships, track requirements, and address feedback professionally
Fully comply with crisis management processes and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve cross-domain issues or deliver multi-team projects
Participate in on-call duties, follow the German calendar for work schedules, and travel when necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, service delivery, or technical support
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Viva Engage, Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Entra ID
Familiarity with Azure fundamentals, cloud architectures, and virtualised environments
ITIL v4 Foundation certified (mandatory)
Advanced IIS configuration and debugging capabilities
Excellent spoken and written English, strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and customer orientation
Experience working in large production environments and multicultural teams
Nice to have:
Experience with low-code/no-code tools such as Power Platform and Copilot Studio (preferred)
Understanding of AI fundamentals within the M365/Azure ecosystem (preferred)
Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python (preferred)
Experience working with Microsoft Intune or Azure Monitor (preferred)
