The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is an intermediate level responsible for assisting with cloud container technologies adoption, simplifying process & procedures, technical guidance and securing the environment.
Job Responsibility:
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Be an active member of Level 3 OpenShift Global container Operations Team
Collaborate with Release Engineering & Product Development teams to develop change management strategies
Manage efficiency and performance of system resources utilized, to balance demand (load), capacity, and product service performance
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
Drive total quality improvement of the cloud solutions to minimize and eliminate incidents due to architecture or design defects (SPOF), capacity related incidents, and EOL/EOVS
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services
Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks
Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower-level analysts
Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, bench-marking activities and best practices
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), the main goals are to create scalable and highly reliable systems by partnering with the application development and production management teams
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by providing compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy
Applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in enterprise level IT Cloud based technologies (PaaS, IaaS, Cloud Infrastructure Services, Open shift, Public Cloud Service Providers)
Experience with issues facing large scale distributed server environments
Experience in architecture and support best practices in RedHat OpenShift in a private cloud environment or Amazon AWS, GCP & Azure
Experience in open-source technologies like Docker, Git, SpringIO, NGINX, Tomcat
Understanding of Cloud application design principles such as 12 factor apps
Broad knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting and analytics AppDynamics, Logstash, Splunk, ELK, etc.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Hands on Expertise in Cloud Platform administration and management of RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Container Technologies, Redis, Gemfire, AWS, GCP, NGINX
Experience on monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk and AppD
Experience on CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and RLM is preferred
