Job Description:

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Onboarding Calculations Consultant to join our Award Winning PRT business. As a Senior Onboarding Calculations Consultant you will play a key role in supporting the transition and administration of Defined Benefit Pension schemes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, who apply technical expertise to complex benefit structures and help shape the onboarding experience for our clients and members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Calculating individual Defined Benefit quotations and designing tailored communications
  • Leading on complex schemes and acting as a subject matter expert for the team
  • Reviewing and quality checking benefit calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new Defined Benefit schemes
  • Designing and delivering training to support customer understanding and fair treatment
  • Facilitating valuation updates, bulk transfers and other scheme activities
  • Liaising with internal teams and third parties to ensure smooth transitions and handovers
  • Keeping stakeholders informed to support excellent customer outcomes

Requirements:

  • Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit Pension schemes and benefit structures
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR, TCF and HMRC guidelines
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience within a technical pensions environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering good outcomes
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively across teams
