Join TUI Airline as our Sr Offline Sales Manager and provide strategic leadership for a specialist team focused on maximising offline sales channels and developing the Visiting Friends & Relatives (VFR) segment across our European markets.
Job Responsibility:
Define and execute the VFR sales growth strategy across priority origin-destination markets, developing value propositions and offers tailored to community-specific travel behaviours
Identify high-potential VFR markets and build dedicated fare structures for diaspora travellers, partnering with local agents and grassroots networks to deepen market penetration
Work with Group Brand & Marketing teams to create culturally resonant campaigns, building brand preference through targeted outreach, sponsorships, and local events in key communities
Lead the commercial strategy for offline sales across Europe, optimising revenue through TUI's owned retail network and independent travel agents
Lead and develop a team of regional specialists, operating effectively in a pan-European matrix environment while sharing best practices across markets
Define and track KPIs for offline sales performance, monitoring market trends and community-based calendar milestones to adapt strategies quickly
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse retail partners, from small non-IATA agencies to large retail chains
Understanding of both grassroots VFR networks and broader European retail sales environments, with experience engaging across cultural and linguistic barriers
Network within the VFR travel community, with established success in managing offline retail channels, ideally in a multi-country airline or travel environment
Experience leading commercial teams across multiple geographies, with skill in aligning local market priorities with central commercial strategies
Clear communication abilities to present business cases and strategies to executives and partners, with a solutions-oriented approach to complex challenges
Fluency in English
