Job Description:

The HR & EHS Senior Officer will provide key administrative support in relation to compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle (onboarding, employee management and off-boarding) processes and activities. The employee will prepare and process the monthly payroll, responding to payroll queries and acting as a key point of contact for employees across the business. The employee will support the team with collation, reporting and analysis of EHS and facilities related reports and metrics. This position will require close collaboration with all members of the HR team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shop Recruitment – Support the end-to-end recruitment of shop floor employees, ensuring timely hiring as per manpower requirements
  • Payroll and Benefits Processing and Systems Administration: Maintain and routinely audit time and attendance, HRIS and payroll databases, and ensure flawless payroll processing
  • Facilities and Grounds Management – Supports the team in ensuring the maintenance, safety, and functionality of facilities and surrounding grounds
  • EHS Administration – Responsible for collating, reporting, analyzing and communicating safety and environmental metrics
  • Support HR Team
  • Strong Team Player and Contributor

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in HR administration, Occupational Safety required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with ADP HR or other HRIS database management skills
  • Experience supporting ISO 140001 and ISO9001 certification and renewal audits preferred but not essential
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands on experience in regulatory reporting including labor, EHS, CSR and compliance
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and applicable labor law
  • Requires a familiarity with HR policies and record keeping requirements
  • High level of computer literacy to include: Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and able to use the Internet as an information source
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, producing results with accuracy and reliability
  • Patience and the ability to function in a high-energy and occasionally high-stress environment
  • Highly confidential in all aspects of professional interaction
  • Exhibits a positive image, pleasant personality, and high level of professional demeanor
