They are now seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Office Administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of their busy sales office.
Job Responsibility:
Support the daily running of the sales office, resolving issues as they arise and escalating where necessary
Coordinate and process customer carpet orders accurately through the internal systems
Liaise with the production team to communicate customer requirements and resolve scheduling or delivery issues
Contribute to process improvement by identifying and implementing practical solutions in consultation with the Office Manager
Take responsibility for the smooth running of the office in the absence of the Office Manager
Manage customer service queries within agreed service levels and maintain excellent client relationships
Prepare and distribute reports on office performance and sales figures
Support the Warehouse Manager in scheduling despatches to meet delivery deadlines
Help resolve delivery issues promptly and professionally
Maintain responsibility for key customer accounts alongside the sales team and Office Manager
Requirements:
Proven experience in office administration or sales order processing, ideally within manufacturing or a product-led business
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to build relationships internally and externally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
