Job Description

Secondary Nurture Teacher | Trade the 'Rat Race' for Real Relationships. Location: Rural Surrey (Near Caterham/Chaldon). Salary: Paid to Scale + SEN Allowance. Contract: Permanent. Do you love teaching, but find yourself wishing you had more time for the person and less time for the paperwork? If you are a QTS-qualified teacher who excels at building deep connections with students who find the world a bit overwhelming, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a Nurture Teacher for our specialist secondary school, supporting students with Autism and complex behavioural needs. Our students require a 'Primary Model' in a Secondary setting. Small Groups: You'll lead a small, consistent cohort. Holistic Curriculum: You have the freedom to weave social and emotional development into every lesson. Therapeutic Support: You'll work alongside an expert team of therapists. The school is tucked away in a beautiful rural setting-you must have a car and be able to drive.
