Job Description

Partnerships are central to the BHF’s strategy to help fund lifesaving research. This role will play a key part in shaping the next wave of transformational collaborations.

Job Responsibility

  • Help deliver our ambitious growth strategy by securing high value, six and seven figure, new partnerships across sectors
  • Take ownership of a number of priority sectors and build a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Lead the full new business cycle, from researching prospects and shaping compelling propositions to presenting to senior decision makers and negotiating agreements
  • Work closely with colleagues across the BHF
  • Line manage one team member and play a supportive role across the wider New Business function

Requirements

  • Substantial experience of securing new, multiyear corporate partnerships with a six and seven figure income focus
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious targets
  • Experience of the full sales cycle
  • Experience of supporting more junior team members, either through direct line management or matrix working
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders
  • Strong communicator who builds trusted relationships quickly both internally and externally
  • Proactive, commercially minded
  • Can-do mindset, strategic thinking and fresh, creative ideas

  • Prospect and convert new business, presenting to stakeholders at all levels, managing a healthy pipeline in Salesforce, and securing the partnerships that fuel Movember's mission
  • Get stuck into community fundraising, manage Movember NZ's Instagram presence, produce creative assets in Canva, and get out on the ground at events, bringing the Mo community to life across the country
