Job Description

The Senior Networking Managed Services Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing and managing network solutions that meet client needs and adhere to industry standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement network solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices
  • Evaluate network architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and security
  • Configure and deploy network devices, including routers, switches and access points
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance
  • Perform network capacity planning to anticipate future network growth and make recommendations for network upgrades and enhancements
  • Manage 3rd level of support and collaborate with the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, software engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions
  • Participate in project planning, providing network design recommendations and estimating resource requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP are highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, and QoS
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware and software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • capable of working effectively with both technical teams and clients
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies
  • Must be a native of a NATO country
  • English: Fluency required (spoken and written)

Nice to have

  • Holding a valid NATO Secret Clearance is a significant advantage
  • French: A strong asset
