Job Description

Join NTT DATA as a Senior Networking Managed Services Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of client IT infrastructures. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents while collaborating with clients and internal teams. A bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in networking technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, and Fortinet. Strong planning and client-centric communication skills are essential for success in this role. Job Responsibility

  • Proactively monitor, identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems
  • Review client requests and tickets and apply technical expertise to resolve them
  • Handle incidents and requests of medium complexity as second-line support
  • Contribute to project work
  • Proactively monitor work queues, execute operational tasks, and update tickets
  • Identify, analyze, and log issues before they escalate
  • Communicate with other teams and clients to provide support and ensure changes are executed with clear risk identification and mitigation plans
  • Highlight key tickets and upcoming critical tasks during shift handover
  • Escalate tickets to ensure focus from Centres of Excellence (CoE) and other teams
  • Collaborate with automation teams on optimizing efforts and automating routine tasks
  • Coach Service desk and L1 teams in technical and behavioural skills
  • Establish monitoring for client infrastructure
  • Lead and manage initial client escalations for operational issues
  • Contribute to the change management process, log change requests, execute approved maintenance activities, and audit incident and request tickets for quality
  • Drive trend analysis reports and identify tasks suitable for automation
  • Support disaster recovery functions and other related tasks as needed

Requirements
