Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Quality Assurance Planning: Contribute to the development of comprehensive test strategies and plans that support project objectives and timelines. Focus on implementing and optimizing testing methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness across testing phases
  • Automation Framework Improvement: Enhance and expand automation frameworks and practices
  • Test Activities Oversight: Lead the detailed design and oversight of test execution, focusing on critical, high-impact testing activities. Oversee critical testing activities ensuring comprehensive coverage while efficiently utilizing available tools and technologies
  • Test Design and Execution: Proficient in test planning, test case design, and execution, focusing on critical, high-impact testing activities. Take ownership of quality assurance deliverables within projects
  • Automation and Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and automation coverage, contributing to the selection and implementation of advanced tools and technologies. Drive the adoption of advanced automation tools and practices that enhance testing processes and product quality
  • Quality Culture and Team Development: Contribute to the development of comprehensive talent development strategies, creates organizational learning programs, mentors multiple layers of technical staff and identifies and nurtures high-potential talent.   • Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a primary QA contact for development and product management teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration and ensuring testing results and processes are clearly communicated
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Maintain awareness of new testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Share findings with the QA team and the Technical Lead, suggesting ways to leverage new insights for improved quality and efficiency

Requirements

  • Experienced (6+ years) in automation with Python/Javascript/Typescript programming skills: experience with backend / API testing
  • relevant contribution to development of an automation framework
  • solid understanding of OOP concepts
  • Solid (4+ years) experience with Networking concepts, protocols, traffic generation/inspection tools
  • Solid experience with Linux CLI, bash scripting, and virtualization technologies
  • Solid experience with API testing tools e.g.: Postman, Swagger etc
  • Solid experience with version control tools e.g.: Git, Perforce, BitBucket etc
  • Good experience with CI/CD Tools e.g.: Jenkins, GitLab CI etc
  • Good experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, TargetProcess, Mantis, Trello)
  • Good experience with Agile/Scrum development (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing. Knowledge of various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and security testing
  • Experienced as a Software QA Engineer with proven success in test planning, execution, and documentation
  • Proficient in analyzing requirements, identifying test scenarios, and developing effective test plans, cases, and scripts
  • Solid experience in leading and mentoring QA team members
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English, with ability to explain complex technical issues clearly
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and adaptability when managing multiple priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to adapt to changing project requirements
