Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for experienced Network Engineers to join a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide top solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the government.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engineering services for network infrastructure
  • Deliver engineering services for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services, virtualized applications, and storage systems
  • Provide modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services
  • Provide network infrastructure engineering services comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
  • 6+ years' experience in systems design and engineering
  • Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues
  • Solve software (Linux) issues and software development
  • Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin
  • Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset
  • GitHub experience and other source control systems
  • Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements
  • Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes
  • Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance
  • U.S. Person required
  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience developing with Python
  • Hands-on experience developing with Java
  • Hands-on experience developing with Ruby on Rails
