Job Description:

BAE Systems is looking for experienced Network Engineers to join a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide top solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the government.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engineering services for network infrastructure
Deliver engineering services for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services, virtualized applications, and storage systems
Provide modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services
Provide network infrastructure engineering services comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years' experience
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
6+ years' experience in systems design and engineering
Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues
Solve software (Linux) issues and software development
Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin
Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset
GitHub experience and other source control systems
Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements
Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes
Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance
U.S. Person required
U.S. Citizenship required

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments
Hands-on experience developing with Python
Hands-on experience developing with Java
Hands-on experience developing with Ruby on Rails
Hands-on experience developing with Ansible
Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO
Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud
Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
