You'll collaborate with teams across security, corporate engineering, business automation, and external partners to guarantee secure, reliable access to our services and resources. As Senior Network Engineer, you will apply your expertise in networking and automation to ensure that our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and efficient; while applying automation best practices to reduce toil and improve system reliability and performance.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate across the organization to find opportunities for automation, driving operational efficiency
Design and develop robust automated solutions, using tools such as Ansible, Python, Jinja, Terraform, device APIs, GenAI and Chatbots
Promptly triage and resolve issues with automated systems, minimizing operational disruptions
Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, using automation to streamline the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Networking focused automation engineering and a proven track record of delivering successful solutions
Experience with Equinix is strongly preferred
In-depth understanding of automation tools and technologies, including, Git Actions, Ansible, Terraform, or the equivalent
Be proficient in scripting/coding languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc) to automate complex tasks
Hands-on experience with a wide range of network hardware including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista devices
Strong understanding of networking protocols and services such as: BGP, OSPF, MC-LAG, DNS and DHCP
Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated automation services
Have strong communication and partnership skills
