Job Description:

Experienced leader in networking technology across multiple hardware vendors. The Senior Network Engineer is considered a subject matter expert for all things networking. This position will be primarily responsible for the network design and implementation of both wired and wireless networks for our clients. You will be heavily involved in both designing new networks from the ground up and redesigns of existing deployments. The Senior Network Engineer will also be responsible for implementing more complex designs and assisting with implementation support for simpler configurations.

Job Responsibility:

Administering and implementing various Wired and Wireless Networking solutions for small and medium-sized client environments
Advanced understanding of Network Security Policies, Monitoring Tools and Network troubleshooting
Ability to migrate and upgrade client environments
Basic Windows Server and Network maintenance
Installation and troubleshooting of various IT solutions
Troubleshoot advanced issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support

Requirements:

7+ years of Wired and Wireless Networking support experience
Ability to design and implement VLAN structure into an existing layer-2 only network
Solid understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting related to switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless
Good documentation skills
Proficiency in ticketing systems
Reliable transportation
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
Ability to have some flexibility with work schedule
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Excellent spoken and verbal communicative skills

Nice to have:

Consulting experience
Cisco, Juniper, Sonicwall, or Aruba experience
Autotask experience
