Senior Network Engineer

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, cloud, etc.)
• Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
• Monitor network performance and integrity
• Troubleshoot network architecture and make recommendations for system findings and enhancements
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
• Collaborate with network architects on network optimization
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
• Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Expertise in Cisco Nexus platforms (5K, 7K, 9K series)
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, and Meraki solutions
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetFlow)
• Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) strongly preferred
