Job Description

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a core-banking application migration project. In this key role, you will design, implement, and hand over critical networking constructs to support large-scale migration phases. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Job Responsibility

  • Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI
  • Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations
  • Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets
  • Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution
  • Prepare and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance via F5 integration
  • Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments
  • Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances
  • Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring
  • CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded
  • Experience working within large-scale migration or data centre projects
  • Familiarity with foundational automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform is highly desirable
