Requirements

  • 10+ years of recent, hands-on experience designing and building large-scale LAN/WAN networks (service provider, datacenter, or large enterprise)
  • Experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) - from implementation to leading design and troubleshooting
  • Experience owning and resolving complex production incidents involving latency, packet loss, or performance degradation across large-scale networks (e.g., MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, Inter-AS)
  • Experience serving as a high-level escalation point (Tier 3 or Tier 4/final escalation point)
  • Experience automating network engineering tasks using Python, APIs, and Git
  • Production support experience with network operating systems (Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Cisco IOS-XR, Nexus NX-OS, Arista EOS, Juniper Junos)
  • Experience authoring SOPs/MOPs and formally training or mentoring engineers
  • Experience supporting large-scale environments (Service Provider networks, Datacenter/Hosting environments, Large enterprise with 10k+ endpoints)
