We are seeking a skilled Senior Network DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the transition and operationalisation of the new infrastructure platforms currently being implemented.

Requirements

  • Senior Network DevOps Engineer background
  • Terraform Certified with deep knowledge of the HashiCorp toolset - Vault, Terraform, Packer
  • Experience in deploying Terraform in highly secure, multi-datacentre environments
  • Experience in Cisco networking infrastructure covering both Local Area Networks - LANs and Wide Area Networks WANs
  • Experience in Firewalls Cisco and/or Palo Alto & applicable management tools to manage ie Cisco Security Manager (CSM)
  • Experience in data-voice-video infrastructure experience
  • Experience in Python and relevant scripting languages to automate activities
  • Experience Network management tools - ie Cisco DNA Centre, Statseeker & Infoblox
  • Experience in applying DevOps principles, drive automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform
  • Experience in the provisioning, maintenance, security hardening, capacity planning and performance testing of network (data, storage) systems infrastructure
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT with Industry accreditations in Cisco and ITIL would be an advantage
