Job Description

FinXL is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Design canonical role/subnet/service object models for ASA/CSM and ACI/APIC
  • Produce runbooks, emergency rollback procedures, and change control artefacts for automated pushes
  • Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM for application traffic distribution and load balancing
  • Integrate F5 solutions into migration designs ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
  • Develop and maintain network automation scripts and workflows using Python and Terraform
  • Monitor post-deploy telemetry and authorise reverts when SLA thresholds are exceeded
  • Mentor automation engineers on APIC payloads and CSM job design

Requirements

  • Deep experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI and APIC REST/API models
  • practical CSM experience
  • Proven design and execution of enterprise firewall policy rollouts
  • Strong troubleshooting and capacity planning skills
  • Hands-on experience with F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager) and LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
  • Proficiency in network automation using Python and Terraform
  • CCNP/CCIE or equivalent (highly desirable)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network automation (desirable)
